Who knew!

Yesterday at work, a young man was attached to me for the most part of the evening to learn the ropes as he was still in training as a new entrant! As we discussed, i found out that he had previously worked as a manager in a major company related to motoring but had been made redundant and therefore had to take on a job...any job to keep up with the mortgage. I admired him. Although he had a small side business in town, he was willing to retrace his steps, swallow his pride and begin again...which is more than i can say for myself.
After work, M and i had yet another misunderstanding which led to things being thought, things being said and others not said.....appropriate and otherwise.
I have now learned that we should never be too proud to start again, to admit defeat, to say we are sorry and to acknowledge when we are wrong ...only then can we be guaranteed a fresh start and sure success!
