Phew, what a week/weekend! Exams are halfway done, all coursework turned in, summer around the corner, all good except the rain. Its rained all week which hasn't helped but this doesn't dim the prospect of holidays..hehe!
Have had a good weekend though. Went shopping and bought clothes i didn't need. I also got new music. The albums by Micheal Buble (2007) and Salif Keita (2005). Also stumbled across Djin Djin by Angelique Kidjo. I am still listening to them so i haven't reached a verdict on them, although i will say that the tracks on the Buble album have not dissapointed (He does a duet with boyz to men).
Saturday night was a dinner party to celebrate a friends birthday. I was glad i went in the end as she pulled out all the stops (she's taking a year out next year so she really did splash out). Being honest, i'd rather a Nigerian party than an Oyinbo party because Nigerian parties are always so extravagant while Oyinbo parties are all cheap beer but this one proved me wrong. Excellent Bollinger and brilliant food helped!! Anyway, got home a bit tipsy and joined the boys with a glass of a lil something (wink)....then it was msn and bed....
Spent the most of today day in bed and didn't do much, sigh. Anyway, with the new week coming, lets hope its better prospects for the weather.

P.s The video is the dance mix of Salif Keita's Madan redone by french DJ Martin Solveig which i Absolutely love. Here's also wishing Ade Bakare the best as he celebrates his anniversary in fashion, giving back with a fashion competition in Lagos later this week.
